Suburban Eyes is a jazz trio out of Centennial, Colorado whose musical repertoire encompasses many styles, time-periods, and interests.
The members are Andrew Ryan (bass), Kevin Matthews (drums), and Wes Leffingwell (piano). Each of us has had experience in many different types of musical situations, which helps us to best express our sound in Suburban Eyes.
A list of the places that we have collectively performed includes: Solid Grounds Coffee, Espressole Coffee House, the St. Julien Hotel, the Broadmoor Hotel, Dazzle Supper Club, Porgy and Bess Jazz Club, and many other fine venues. Each of us has also performed in many jazz festival settings including the Denver Jazz Club's Summit Jazz Festival, Mile High Jazz Festival, Evergreen Jazz Festival, Sacramento Jazz Jubilee, and the UNC Greeley Jazz Festival.
We also have regularly played alongside several guest artists including tenor saxophone player Adam Gang, Guitarist Mike Robinson, Trumpet player Colton Crandell, and Guitarist Jim Stahlhut. We encourage you to check out these players and support them as well.
